Noelene K. Jeffers, PhD, CNM, IBCLC
Assistant Professor – Johns Hopkins School of Nursing
Dr. Jeffers is a Certified Nurse Midwife who has cared for women and families in Washington, DC region for over ten years. She is committed to helping Black birthing people thrive in pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond. Her research mission is to promote the health, well-being and thriving of Black birthing people and their infants. In her current research, Dr. Jeffers examines the impact of systems of oppression on the structural and social determinants of Black perinatal health.
