HOW TO CREATE, UPDATE SLIDES

MDMOM users may be interested in posting news images to the slider or want to change the images on the website. These events can be defined by any user with admin/superuser privileges by clicking the Add button in the slides listing. (Currently not in use)

When the user clicks the Add button, a form is displayed. This form allows the user to describe the slide title, title URL, title location and information about the slide.

Events are displayed in three sections of the MDMOM website.
  1. If the Frontpage Display is enabled when the slide is created, the slide will show up on the slider.

  2. All slides are listed when you access the https://mdmom.org/slides URL.

Adding, and Editing a slide requires an account with proper permissions. If your account needs to be upgraded send a message to the MDMOM staff.

Add new slide

  1. Log in as user with escalated privilages.
  2. Browse to https://mdmom.org/slides.
  3. Click "Add" button at top of the page.
  4. Fill in the form.
  5. Click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page.

Edit a slide

  1. Log in as user with escalated privilages.
  2. Browse to https://mdmom.org/slides.
  3. Click center (pencil/paper) icon to the right of the slide you wish to modify
  4. Change the contents.
  5. Click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page.
