Sarah Clifford, MSPH

Sarah Clifford is a maternal health scientist with expertise in implementation research and quality improvement at the state, national, and international levels. Her research interests lie at the intersection of health systems and social science, with the goal of improving maternal health among disadvantaged populations. She centers communities in the design, implementation, and evaluation of health programs. Ms. Clifford is currently a co-investigator for the IMPROVE Maternal Health Data Innovation and Coordination Hub, where she serves as a scientific liaison for several NIH Maternal Health Research Centers of Excellence. She is also a co-investigator for the HRSA funded Maryland Maternal Health Innovation Program, where she leads the MDMOM resource map project and co-leads the Telehealth Initiative for Severe Hypertension in Pregnancy.
